Treasury Analyst

Job Title: Treasury Analyst

Location: Corporate

Reports To: Treasury Manager

FLSA Status: Exempt


The Treasury Analyst is responsible for preforming daily cash management tasks as well as assisting accounts payable.  An important function of this position is to work closely with various departments to identify cash needs.  The position is responsible for ensuring that the company’s daily cash requirements are met and that appropriate controls are in place for the management of the company’s liquid assets.  


Prepare daily cash flow reports
Forecast daily cash requirements and make recommendations on financing decisions
Perform daily cash sweeps and analysis of cash transfers as needed
Process domestic and foreign currency transactions
Work with other departments to determine funding needs to support cash flow forecast
Prepare and monitor treasury procedure detail manuals
Prepare daily journal entries
Manage the vendor credit card program
Assist on processing employee vendor expense reimbursements
Monitor and research outstanding checks
Complete cash management related projects or assignments
Assist accounts payable with weekly transactions and other tasks


1-2 years of experience in the Treasury  
Experience with Treasury Banking, Cash Management, Cash Forecasting and Cash Banking
Experience working with multiple legal entities
Knowledge of treasury software
Experience with domestic and international banking
Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook)l
Experience with accounting systems such as JD Edwardses;

Must be able to legally work in the United States
Must be willing to work in a drug-free environment and agree to a post offer drug test
Must be willing to work safely
Good verbal and written communication skills
Ability to effectively plan and organize to meet project deadlines

Language Skills

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.  Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software, reporting tools related to databases.  Must have the ability to learn Accounting and Electronic Content Management software programs.
