Job Title: ECM Applications Developer
Department: Information Technology
Reports To: ECM Manager
The Jr. ECM Applications Developer for the OnBase team is responsible for the development and maintenance of OnBase Case Management, Workflow Applications, as well as Unity Forms. This individual will meet with customers to define and develop new OnBase solutions. Additional duties will include the documentation of the aforementioned solutions, providing technical assistance to customers and to the other OnBase technicians, and researching and evaluating new document management technologies as they become available. This induvial will be working closely with the Finance department in building solutions and automating business processes.
2 years of experience working with OnBase
Experience with OnBase version 16 preferred
Knowledge in OnBase Administration, Unity Client, Thick Client, Configuration Client, OnBase Studio
Knowledge of the Software Development Life-cycle (Plus)
training / implementations
Hyland OnBase Certified Systems Administrator - OCSA
Hyland OnBase Certified WorkView - OCWV (Plus)
Experience in C# (Plus)
Experience in MS SQL (Plus)
Strong experience and knowledge in customer service and presentations
Extensive experience in relating business processes into technical solutions, development and modifications of workflow processes
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Create end-to-end OnBase solutions
Consult with clients to analyze and understand all functions to be automated in OnBase
Design and build necessary document loading functions
Design and build necessary workflows to automate processes
Design and build necessary data structures for application functionality
Write code to support the OnBase API
Executes program and system-level testing
Executes tests in support of new deployments, as well as upgrades
Implements changes based upon testing outcomes
Participate on project teams
Provide technical input on enterprise efforts that involve OnBase or document management as needed
Maintain and advance personal technical knowledge
Dedicate weekly time to personal technical development
OnBase Research projects – as assigned by the OnBase Manager
+ Responsible to interact with end users and test groups to determine ECM software, system and process solutions.
+ Responsible to maintain legal working status within the United States; maintain a drug-free work environment and agree to drug testing per AB company requirements.
+ Required to work safely, follow all safety rules and procedures as a regular part of performing job duties and keeps OSHA recordable incidents to a minimum.
+ Any and all other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Education and/or Experience
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, and three or more years’ experience in providing ECM application solutions. Two or more (2+) years administering ECM services in the Construction and/or Engineering industry is highly desirable.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Ability to work with mathematical concepts related to business acumen, financial concepts, and basic engineering calculations.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Extensive knowledge of Database software; Hyland’s OnBase ECM Software; Internet software; Spreadsheet software, Word Processing software, and reporting tools related to databases.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Current driver's license.
Ability of principles and methods of management, administration, budgeting and training.
Be available to travel to other offices as required.
